Kajiado County continues to experience a raging drought for the last two years severely affecting both humans and
animals. Over 300,000 people are currently facing starvation and 450,000 livestock whose market value stands at Ksh. 13.6 billion are facing death by starvation. Wildlife has not been spared either as 75% of wild animals are facing death by starvation.

We were privileged to share food supply with 78 households in Kajiado Central Sub County to help ease the effects of drought in the community.

In a bid to mitigate the current situation, Neighbours Initiative Alliance with donations from the President of Babuko Asha, Joyceline Vitra has taken initiative to support the most vulnerable under this condition.

We encourage more partnerships and collaborations to impact more communities and cater for the marginalized during these hard times.
